Carrying 25 tourists, luxury train The Golden Chariot reached Ernakulam on Thursday after a gap of six years. The train, owned by the Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation and currently operated by the IRCTC, reached Cochin Harbour Terminus railway station at Willingdon Island in the morning. As per the itinerary, the train started its journey with the tourists from Yesvantpur on Sunday and reached Ernakulam after visiting various places in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu.
